    POWER OF WOMEN DIGITAL CONFERENCE 2023 ACHIEVES GLOBAL SUCCESS

    Led by the new generation of young leaders, the Power of Women Digital

    Conference 2023 (DPOW) brought together over 100 global leaders and experts, and tens of thousands of attendees from more than 50 countries, aimed to amplify the voices of women in decision-making processes, unite diverse perspectives, promote global awareness, and nurture collective action for humanity's shared mission fostering a culture of peace and wellbeing for ourselves, our loved ones and our environment.

    the Power of Women

    The global annual Power of Women Digital Conference is a 48-hour event running parallel to the G20 Summit. It aims to amplify women's voices in decision-making processes, foster collaboration by uniting a global audience, and promote gender balance and inclusive solutions. The conference features keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, cultural performances, and audience engagement activities.

     

    It focuses on themes such as music, media, and entertainment; exceptional female leaders in well-being areas; and solutions for a sustainable future. Presenters are required to adhere to specific guidelines and engage with the audience through live polling.

     

    The conference provides a platform for collaboration and action toward a more equitable and sustainable world.

    Sister Dr. Jenna is an acclaimed spiritual mentor, author, and radio and TV personality, committed to bridging divides in societies and building relationships between global influencers. She is the Director of the Washington DC Branch of the Brahma Kumaris and Host of the America Meditating Radio Show. Sister Dr. Jenna also serves as one of the Evolutionary Leaders In Service to Conscious Evolution and was selected by Empower a Billion Women 2020 as one of the 100 most influential leaders of 2015. She serves on numerous advisory boards including CMedia Network, Eplog Media, and Global Love Movement, to mention a few. She’s the recipient of the President’s Lifetime new National Community Service Award.

    Dr. Sonja Lopez-Arnak

    Dr. Lopez Arnak is the Executive Director of World Council for Curriculum and Instruction, a transnational educational organization that promotes international understanding and a peaceful world community. WCCI holds consultative status with the UN Department of Global Communications and the UN Economic and Social Council. With 20+ years of experience in multicultural and multilingual education, Dr. Lopez Arnak has worked as an educator, administrator, professor, researcher, and program designer in K12 schools and higher education in the US, Germany, Italy, Mexico, and Turkey. She completed her doctorate in Teacher Education in Multicultural Societies, International Education, and Language and Literacy at the University of Southern California. Dr. Lopez Arnak continues to work with educators from around the world as a faculty member, International Baccalaureate online professional development facilitator, and with various international, national, and state organizations, boards, and journals.

    Tezikiah Gabriel

    Tezikiah Gabriel is the Executive Director of Pathways to Peace, an international organization founded in 1983 to promote peace worldwide. PTP has spent over 40 years innovating, collaborating, and building movements toward a culture of peace through cross-cultural and intergenerational work. PTP is a designated Peace Messenger Organization by the UN and has consultative status with the UN Department of Global Communications (DGC) and the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Tez also owns Gabriel Associates, an organization development firm partnering with NGOs for over 30 years to create sustainable positive change. As an ordained minister, Tez performs inter-faith and intercultural ceremonies and helps individuals and groups "Empower the Divine Within Each of Us.

    David Wick

    David Wick with 30 years of corporate executive and management training and organizational development consulting experience has held the vision and values of personal and societal evolution to our highest and best. He currently serves as Pathways To Peace, President, Rotary E-Club of World Peace, Immediate Past President, Ashland Culture of Peace Commission, Executive Director. Beginning in 1980 David helped launch the United Nations NGO, Pathways To Peace (PTP) which assisted in the adoption of the UN’s International Day of Peace in 1981. While working at Stanford University, in 1985 he founded the ten-year-long PTP Peace Within Organizations program. David also co-founded the Ashland Culture of Peace Commission (ACPC) with Irene Kai and currently serves as its Executive Director.

    Gary Malkin

    Gary Malkin is a 7-time Regional Emmy Award-winning media composer, public speaker, and music and health innovator who inspires the world to embrace music as a catalyst for healing, mindfulness and a more meaningful life. His work redefines the role of music in healthcare, education and corporate America. Multiple awards, Clio, and ASCAP award recipient, Gary spent twenty-five years composing music for film, television, and socially responsible documentaries, preparing him to develop innovative musical solutions for many of the social and health challenges facing our society. Gary has been developing music-infused resources to help people from all walks of life face life’s significant transitions with greater mindfulness, presence, and compassion.

    Marilyn King

    Marilyn King is a two-time Olympian in the Pentathlon, with a 20-year athletic career that includes five national titles and a World Record. Following a car accident that prevented her from training physically for her third Olympic Team, Marilyn turned to mental training techniques and placed second at the Olympic trials for the 1980 Moscow Games. This experience led to a 35-year career in exceptional human performance, focusing on systemic change in business, education, and peace. Marilyn has conducted programs for Fortune 500 companies, presented at over 200 national and international education conferences, and co-created the Dare to Imagine program. Her most pioneering work, "The Peace Team," resulted in two opportunities to speak at the United Nations and an invitation to create a U.N. sub-committee on the role of sport in peacebuilding. Marilyn is also the founder of Beyond Sports, an organization that seeks to extend the application of imagery and related skills to a broader arena of individual and social concerns, including world peace.

    Dr. Anil Maheshwari

    Dr. Anil Maheshwari Ph.D. is a Professor of Management and Information Systems at Maharishi International University (MIU), in Fairfield, Iowa, USA. He teaches courses in data analytics, strategic management, leadership, marketing, and others. He has contributed 16 books, 40 research papers, and book chapters, and has made 40 conference presentations, at the intersection of technology, leadership, and consciousness. His book Data Analytics Made Accessible has been consistently the #1 recommended book globally. He has 20 years of IT industry experience including 9 years in leadership roles at IBM. He also has 20 years of academic experience as a University Professor. He earned a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, and a Ph.D. in Management from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He earned an M.A. in Reading Vedic Literature from MIU. He received the Maharishi Award in 2015; and blogs on Blissful Living at anilmah.com.
