Power of Women was honored to be invited by NGO CSW to broadcast our live performance from the Saban Theater during their Consultation Day ceremony, which marked the kickoff of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) 67th Forum representing NGOs and civil society.

NGO CSW (Non-Governmental Organization Committee on the Status of Women) is a coalition of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that work to promote women's rights and gender equality worldwide. It plays a significant role in advocating for women's rights within the United Nations system, particularly during the annual sessions of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). The NGO CSW Forum provides a platform for over 800+ NGOs from around the world to engage in advocacy, networking, and capacity-building activities related to gender equality and women's empowerment.
Impact
NGO CSW Consultation Day 2023 was held as a part of the priority theme of CSW67 and the UN Theme DigitALL, focusing on innovation, and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.
The Consultation Day, broadcasted by NGO CSW, reached an impressive audience of 45,000 viewers, highlighting the significant interest and engagement in discussions surrounding gender equality and empowerment. Additionally, the NGO CSW forum itself attracted over 15,000 participants from around the world, including representatives from more than 800 NGOs. This widespread participation underscores the global importance of advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, with diverse voices coming together to drive meaningful change on an international scale.
At the heart of our participation lay our commitment to amplifying the voices of girls and women in decision-making processes at all levels, advocating for gender equality through the power of music and media. The performance of the Power Of Women Anthem served as a reminder of the importance of stepping into our greatness with unity and empowerment, to take collective action in advancing the rights and opportunities of women and girls globally.
